About the event
The idea of aging and fermenting tea doesn't sound inherently appealing. But since the times of Silk Road trading, Puerh has been valued and revered for its unique taste, properties, and craftsmanship.
We serve Puerh tea at most of Oxytocin's tea ceremonies, and we figured it's time to give a more in-depth crash course on what this tea is all about. At this event, you'll learn about the various types of Puerh, its history, how it's made, and sample a few Sheng (Raw) Puerhs from across the decades to experience the aging process this wonderful tea undergoes.
Our facilitator will be Shawn Sprinkle, a local tea educator who is the founder of 'Woven Roots' tea company. He's outfitted a beautiful tea room in town we'll be meeting at. As such, this event is limited in size, and the address will be shared in the confirmation email upon making a reservation.
